Well we finally arrived in Las Vegas Tuesday night. Here is an overview of the last few days since we haven't put up any updates. We left Moab, UT on the way thru Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon and arrived in Needles, CA.
After leaving Needles, CA we push on to Hollywood, CA. We saw quite a few interesting people...
On our way out of Hollywood we had to lane-split on Hollywood Blvd and I-10. Somewhere along this route Zeb picked up some glass in his front tire and had a flat. After much fiddling with the Stop-n-Go tire repair kit we go the tire fixed and push on... We got only about a mile up the road before Zeb's oil light came on. In the process of checking the oil Zeb's bike fell over in the oncoming traffic (far left lane of I-10). Thomas and Zeb reacted quickly and pull the bike to safety. Narrowly avoiding being hit by oncoming traffic.
Then we headed north to Las Vegas, NV
We arrived in Las Vegas around 3:00am PST. Our first stop, after checking into the Excalibur, was Nine Fine Irishmen in the New York New York. After that we stumbled our way down the strip stopping at the Monte Carlo, MGM Grand, Bellagio, and a few others. On our way back to the hotel room we encountered so many hookers that we had to beat them off with sticks to try and make it back to our room without any extra little friends. :-P
We will be heading out of Vegas Friday morning on our way to Salt Lake City, UT...
